Hi, I'm Bill. Let Me Help You Get Your Copy Right.
When a major disaster happens at home, such as the house is struck by lightning, you call an electrical contractor after the insurance pays for the damage. The same thing goes for any major home repair problem – you get the right skills to fix things. It’s good practice to hire the right talent that can help you get moving again. I’m Bill Short and have been doing freelance copy writing for B2B clients since 2021.
If you need some wordsmithing done for a small project or you want a complete review of your publishing empire, I can help you.
We just need to start talking about your needs. Then, together, we can get you back on the right track of running your business the way you want it to run. I’m looking forward to learning all about you and how I can help you discover any blind spots or help you break through any bottlenecks.
What I Do
I enjoy helping businesses who need solutions for lexical problems or want a creative hand in their publishing mix. After our collaboration, companies magically transform themselves from a dray horse to a unicorn with just a few strokes of the pen.
I Edit.
Not only do I actively write as a freelancer, I also edit Whitepapers, and Case Studies for my clients.
I Do Books.
It was a labor of love that I was able to help proofread two books on health-related topics.
Need Advice?
Sometimes it’s just nice to talk to someone who doesn’t have any hidden agenda. Since I don’t know your story, tell me about it and I’ll listen. If you want my opinion after chatting, ask me and I’ll give it to you.

My Story
It would be great to start my story off with an anecdote about how I used to trudge through waist-high snow for miles to get to school and that I was born on a lonely strip of land in a log cabin where you could hear the wolves howling in the wilderness. But, that didn’t happen. Instead I was born on the windy lowlands where icy gusts came off the North Sea that made people retreat indoors to drink hot teas.
One of the early memories I have is riding on a train. I can still smell the wet wool and feel the jarring of the coach as it skimmed along and hear the clack-clack of the wheels as they went over the rails to our destination in the South. Strange sounds in the background like that of a gurgling brook, a warm feeling of being in a close space as my mother and I traveled to our new home in America. I was six or seven months old then. Mom still wonders how I can remember these things.
